Sniffing Out a Good Story
Garnering national headlines for an aromatherapy class at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center
After reading about Cherie Perez's aromatherapy class at M. D. Anderson in an internal publication, gabbegroup proposed a "mini" media outreach campaign to communicate the healing benefits of aromatherapy. The campaign garnered national media interest that has included key placements with United Press International, MSNBC.com, WTOP-FM, KUHF-FM, MedStar TV, The Boston Globe, The Baltimore Sun, Alternative Medicine, Natural Health, Metro and First for Women. To date, media outreach has generated an estimated 28,847,607 total media impressions.
